# Deposit & Withdraw

Move funds in and out of your Rocky account. Deposits and withdrawals settle on Canton and go directly to and from your own wallet.

## Deposit

1. Open **Receive** and copy your address (or show the QR code).
2. Send a supported Canton asset to this address from your source wallet.
3. Your balance updates once the transfer is confirmed on-chain.

{% hint style="info" %}
Only send **Canton-supported assets** to your Rocky address. Sending an unsupported asset or using the wrong network may result in permanent loss.
{% endhint %}

## Withdraw

1. Open **Send** and enter the recipient address and amount.
2. Review the network fee and estimated total.
3. Confirm to submit the transfer on-chain.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**Transfers cannot be reversed.** Double-check the recipient, amount, and network before confirming.
{% endhint %}

## Troubleshooting

* **Balance didn't update?** Give the network a moment to confirm, then refresh. Some assets may arrive as an offer you need to accept.
* **Wrong address?** On-chain transfers are final and cannot be recalled by Rocky.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://doc.rocky.exchange/getting-started/deposit-and-withdraw.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
